This came after the end of the special course for ambassadors and senior officers organized by the NATO Defense College (NDC) in the Italian capital, Rome, which included several ambassadors, including the Kuwait Ambassador to Belgium and the head of its missions to the EU and NATO, Nawaf Al-Enezi. In a statement to KUNA, Enezi said on the conclusion of the session that NATO greatly values the partnership with Kuwait, which has extended over 20 years since Kuwait joined the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative as the first country.
He indicated that there is existing cooperation between Kuwait and NDC through joint teaching in the fields of military sciences, training and exchange of expertise. He added that the course organized by NDC, which discussed the risks and opportunities available in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and geopolitical challenges at a global level, comes within the framework of NATO countries preparations for the upcoming NATO summit in Washington, coinciding with the seventy-fifth anniversary of establishing NATO.
