The Society for the Revival of Islamic Heritage (RIHS), Sabah Al-Nasser Suburb Branch in Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak Complex, organized a closing ceremony in honor of the winners of the Ramadan competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran. It was held at the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak Complex under the patronage and presence of Sheikh Mubarak Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.

He stressed the importance of memorizing the Holy Quran for young children, adding that memorizing the Holy Quran is the fortress of the formation of a strong Muslim personality, spiritually, morally, and cognitively.

 

“Memorizing the Quran represents honesty, mercy, and justice, as these are the foundations of building a good person,” Sheikh Mubarak said, adding that memorizing the Quran and educating oneself on its values and principles is one of the most important reasons for opening mental perceptions and cognitive growth, in addition to the happiness and psychological comfort felt by the memorizer.

For his part, the Chairman of the Administrative Board of Sabah Al-Nasser Branch, Bandar Al-Mutairi, said he is keen to continue providing everything that benefits the people of the region and promotes building their personalities religiously and socially. “We appreciate the annual sponsorship of Sheikh Mubarak Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah for the Ramadan competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran,” he added.
